Field Trip!!!

Today, Kaeli and her classmates went to Publix for a field trip. Initially, I thought it was kind of silly, but it was a fun trip and great place to take little ones who are learning to read and look for letters and their sounds. There are tons of items with letters and numbers everywhere! They visited Customer Service, the Deli, Bakery, Produce and Seafood departments. They also went through a register! The people at Publix made them little gift bags with a banana, coloring books, a pen, pencil and a balloon! After we left Publix, we went to a local park and let the kids play and eat lunch, picnic style! They made it back to school for the last two hours and enjoyed their cake for a mid afternoon snack!!
