Good bye

We've had to put our oldest cat, Spike, down. It was one of the most difficult things to do since he's been with us since he was a tiny kitten. We adopted him the first year we were married and he's been with us for 17+ good years. I will miss his quirky ways - he loved ribbons and bows. He always took them to his food and water dishes and loved to drag them about the house. Christmas, obviously, was his favorite time of year.
