Renovations & moving

Well, we are finally somewhat settled! It feels good to have our feet on the ground for the moment. There is still unpacking to do... my dishes are somewhere in a box. We did a lot of last minute packing because we spent the week prior doing some renovations on my brother's house. He was kind enough to offer his house to us when he heard Roger had been laid off. We are greatful for the generosity. Since he is being so generous, we felt like we needed to say thank you, somehow. So, we ventured out and renovated the two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms of the house.
We neutralized the wall color to a nice creamy beige color (Ralph Lauren Oatmeal) which really popped the trim. We added white mini blinds and repainted the trim. The bedrooms are move -in ready for anyone, with any color scheme. We also took the pink and blue bathrooms and brought them up to 2009. We replaced toilets, had the pink tub resurfaced, replaced the vanities, lights and mirrors in both and painted them the same color as the bedrooms.
After all the renovating, we started packing and started moving stuff from one house to another. It's a long way away from Kaeli's school, but we're hoping to get things figured out by the end of summer.
Enjoy the pictures - just a few of the before and after, and of course one photo of you-know-who.... :-)
